Podiatrist The Community – Navajo Nation, Shiprock, NM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Podiatry services in the delivery of patient care to the Client.
• General Clinical duties - interviews and examines patients, reviews medical histories, requests or performs tests and reviews results, consultation and examinations, makes diagnoses, provides or prescribes treatment.
• Surgical Clinical duties - performs minor and major surgical procedures, advises clinician about actual or potential podiatric cases
• Outpatient Clinical Duties - conducts outpatient care

Requirements:

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DOPM) from a school accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Evaluation
• Must be licensed to practice in one of the States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
• One (1) year of podiatric experience

Schedule: Hours 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday; Overtime and call back 4:31PM – 7:59AM, Weekend and Holiday call back 4:31PM – 7:59AM Assignment length: From date of hire through July 31, 2021
