The Package Delivery Driver is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering packages safely and on time within assigned routes in Staten Island. Core duties include loading and organizing shipments, verifying delivery information, following route plans, obtaining proof of delivery when required, and reporting delays, damaged items, or address issues to dispatch or a supervisor. Drivers are expected to represent the operation professionally while working in neighborhood and urban traffic conditions. A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to read maps or use navigation tools are typical baseline qualifications. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, managing time well, and lifting and carrying packages of varying sizes. Physical demands may include repeated stops, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The schedule is full time and may include early mornings, afternoons, evenings, or occasional weekend shifts based on route requirements.
