Regional CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Driver – Propane/Butane | $1,300–$2,500+/Week | Steubenville, OH
Home Weekly | 5 Days Out / 2 Days Home | Hazmat & Tanker Required

Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is actively hiring experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our Propane Division serving Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding states .

This is a Regional/OTR position hauling propane and butane (UN1075) with strong earning potential, specialized tanker work, modern equipment, and weekly home time .

CompensationAverage Gross Weekly Earnings: $1,300–$2,500+

• $0.70–$0.75 CPM , based on experience 
• Paid loading & unloading 
• Per-gallon pumping pay 
• Hourly detention pay 
• Night-out stipend

Actual earnings vary based on experience, mileage, pumping pay, detention, night-out compensation, availability, freight volume, and seasonal demand.

Schedule & Home Time5 Days Out | 2 Days Home

• Home weekly  
• Regional/OTR operation based from the Steubenville, Ohio area 
• One weekend day availability required 
• Regional service throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding areas 

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075) 
• Deliver throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding areas 
• Load from terminals including: 
  • Coshocton, OH 
  • Scio, OH 
  • Jewett, OH 
  • Proctor, WV 
  • Moundsville, WV 
• Safely load and unload tanker trailers using pumping equipment 
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
• Maintain accurate ELDs and shipping documentation 
• Properly manage tanker hoses, valves, placarding, and PPE 
• Follow applicable DOT, FMCSA, and DHT safety requirements 
• Provide professional service to DHT customers

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL 
• Hazmat (H) endorsement required prior to hire  
• Tanker (N) endorsement required prior to hire  
• Drivers holding the combined X endorsement are encouraged to apply 
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience  
• Acceptable driving record 
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements 
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions 
• Ability to safely handle hoses, pumping equipment, and required PPE 

Tanker Experience

Experience hauling propane, butane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuels, or other bulk liquid/gas commodities is strongly preferred but not required.

Drivers with transferable tanker experience are encouraged to apply.
