CDL-A HAZMAT TANKER DRIVER – PROPANE & BUTANE (UN1075)Grand Rapids / Southwest Michigan / Indiana Region | $1,300–$2,500+ Weekly | Home Weekly
EXPERIENCED TANKER DRIVERS — WE HAVE TRUCKS TO FILL.

Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT) is expanding our Propane & Butane Division throughout the Grand Rapids, Southwest Michigan, and Indiana region and hiring experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers.

This is not an entry-level tanker position.

We're looking for professional drivers who understand the responsibility that comes with hauling propane and butane, take safety seriously, and want strong earning potential without staying on the road for weeks at a time.

EARNING POTENTIALAverage Gross Weekly Earnings: $1,300–$2,500+

• $0.70–$0.75 CPM , based on experience
• Paid loading and unloading
• Per-gallon pumping pay
• Night-out stipend

Actual earnings vary based on experience, freight volume, driver availability, and seasonal demand.

HOME WEEKLYTypical Schedule: 5 DAYS OUT | 2 DAYS HOME

• Home every week
• Regional / OTR operation serving Grand Rapids, Southwest Michigan, Indiana, and surrounding markets
• One weekend day availability required
• Consistent work during peak propane season

You can earn strong tanker money without disappearing for weeks at a time.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075) throughout Michigan, Indiana, and surrounding states
• Load at major propane supply terminals throughout the Midwest
• Deliver safely and professionally to DHT customers
• Load and unload tanker trailers using pumps, hoses, and associated equipment
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and Hours of Service compliance
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements
• Represent DHT professionally at terminals and customer locations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat Endorsement
• Tanker Endorsement
• Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL-A experience
• Safe driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely handle hoses, pumps, and tanker equipment
• Commitment to safety and professionalism
