Bookkeeper

Location: Remote
Salary: $45,000-$55,000/year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM
Type: Contract-to-Hire Opportunity (580-Hour Contract)


Position Overview


Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a remote opportunity with a local company. This position will handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions, including payroll, bank reconciliations, invoice payments, and financial recordkeeping. The ideal candidate will have previous bookkeeping or accounting experience and be comfortable working with QuickBooks and AS400.


Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll and maintain accurate records
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Process and pay invoices
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Perform general bookkeeping and accounting duties
• Utilize QuickBooks and AS400 for daily tasks

Qualifications:

• Previous bookkeeping and accounting experience required
• QuickBooks experience required
• AS400 experience preferred
• Experience with payroll, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
